Short Bio:

Dr. Vikas Gupta is an alumnus of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, India, and holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality. He has also done his master’s degree in Tourism Management and bachelor’s in hospitality and Hotel Administration. Apart from his academic credentials, he possesses exemplary leadership and training skills, making him a sought-after professional, especially in Food Production and Culinary Arts. His research interests include gastronomic/culinary tourism, consumer behaviour, Talent management, cruise tourism, etc. He is presently working with The University of the South Pacific as a Senior Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality. He also has an excellent research background with more than 45 publications in SCOPUS and ABDC-ranked International Journals. He is also involved in various funded research projects. Recently, he received the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Research Paper, 2022 and Best Reviewer, 2024.
