Biography
Teaching Linguistics at University of the South Pacific (USP) in school of Language Arts and Media. Also taught English for Academic purpose at USP. Research interests are in the linguistic study of Fiji Baat and its historical development in the social, political, and educational fields of Fiji Indians. Also actively researching on multilingual education in Fiji and translation work.
2020, PhD candidate. Working on a descriptive analysis of the verb morphology of Fiji Hindi. The project is on documentation of Fiji Baat and creating a corpus of it. The verb construction analysis will be carried out from the dissertation.
