Our School of Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics (STEMP) was honored to have partnered with the Vodafone Amalgamated Telecom (ATH) Fiji Foundation in hosting the 6th Multi-Disciplinary Pacific Conference earlier this month. The conference was held in partnership with other organisations such as the Institute for Volunteering Research, University of East Anglia and Save Fiji.
The one-day event focused on the theme, ‘Empowering Communities: Professional Volunteerism and Digital Advocacy for Sustainable Development.’
Throughout the event, speakers emphasised the importance of empowering communities through volunteerism and digital innovation in supporting sustainable development.
The conference sought to harness the collective expertise of participants to address regional challenges and opportunities through professional volunteerism and digital advocacy.
