What is SLS? – Student Learning Support

• A team of specialists who provide academic learning support to help bridge the gap between pre-tertiary and tertiary education
• Very different to SAS – Student Administration Services 😊
• We focus on skills development rather than content e.g. time management and goal setting, concept mapping, unpacking your assignment, effective listening and notetaking, critical reading and writing strategies, avoiding plagiarism, etc.
• We ensure accessibility and equity of support services by using a variety of tools to supply necessary assistance to all USP students, irrespective of location (local, regional and international)
• We are dedicated to improving your learning experience at the university and encourage ALL students to seek us out and have a chat on how we can enhance your learning experience.
