Introduction

The Women Entrepreneurs Business Council celebrated its 10th anniversary with the second Women Invigorating the Nation Convention, that was held on the 24th and 25th of March at the Grand Pacific Hotel. The WIN Convention featured more than 200 delegates and several speakers that focused on overcoming challenges and barriers faced by women in businesses. Reah Kumar reports from the convention.

Introduction

The Parliament on 6 April voted to repeal the controversial and much debated piece of legislation – the Media Industry Development Act –  that was promulgated in 2010 by the then military government of  Frank Bainimarama. Radio Wansolwara’s Kaneta Naimatau reports.
