Over the coming months, our campuses across the region will brim with excitement as we welcome high school students, families, and communities to one of the most important events of the year – Open Day 2025.

This is a special and inspiring time that we truly look forward to. It is when we open our doors to showcase the unique cultural richness, diverse academic offerings, and the strong sense of community that define The University of the South Pacific – a truly Pacific institution rooted in the vibrant, resilient cultures of our Oceanic region.

I am also pleased to be welcoming students to our Laucala, Lautoka and Labasa campuses in a few weeks to the KPMG 2025 USP Open Day.

Our dedicated staff and hardworking students have been preparing an engaging programme filled with hands-on activities, inspiring displays and opportunities to explore what student life, learning and research at USP are really like – a place where the ocean’s vastness symbolizes endless possibilities and the diversity of our Pacific identities.

Throughout this event, you will hear first-hand accounts from our students, staff, and alumni who have overcome challenges, chased their dreams, and achieved remarkable success – all inspired by the strength of our Pacific communities and values.
