Development Cooperation Unit

The Development Cooperation Unit (DCU), led by Manager Development Cooperation, is primarily responsible for providing high level strategic advice and analysis relating to donor relations; effective liaison and engagement with development partners; reviewing and finalisation of MOUs, and Agreements with external partners; reviewing project proposals; drafting letters and presentations, reports and papers for the Vice-Chancellor and President and for the University. The Unit is further responsible for preparing regular reports on current and prospective aid/funding support to the University; providing project management support including monitoring and evaluation ; keeping an up to date donor profiles and indicative development assistance record and facilitating the University’s relationships with other international organisations in terms of forming strategic linkages . The Unit also organises High Level Consultations and bilateral meetings with respective donors and organisations on a regular basis.
