Vanuatu Campus Advisory: CAMPUS CLOSED

Dear Staff and Students

Over the last few days, Tropical Cyclones Kevin and Judy have caused major devastation across Vanuatu and we hope that you and your families are safe and well. The University has not been spared from the effects of the cyclones and we are currently taking stock of the damage to our Campus and Centers and quickly deploying resources to get us back on our feet.

Given the safety and logistical concerns, the University announces that all classes and assessments at the Emalus Campus and USP Centers in Vanuatu for this coming week (Tuesday 7 March to Friday 10th March) has been cancelled.

The University will open however for limited operations as we begin the cleanup. We request staff who are able to, to safely make their way to Campus and Centers to report to work from Tuesday 7 March (after the public holiday) to assist with the cleanup.

During these challenging times, the University will continue to support our students and staff. We strongly encourage you to get in touch with your course coordinators or work supervisors, where possible,  for any further support and guidance.

The USP DISMAC team will meet again during the week to further assess the situation and provide an updated advisory.

Please keep yourself and your families safe.
