Dear Staff and Students
THIS ADVISORY IS STRICTLY FOR THE STAFF AND STUDENTS AT LAUCALA CAMPUS.
USP DISMAC met today 2 April 2020 at 5pm. Please find below the latest advisory in light of measures announced by the Honourable Prime Minister of Fiji today:
- USP DISMAC wishes to reinforce that USP Laucala Campus is effectively at Level 3 of the USP COVID-19 Pandemic Management Plan and only essential staff not affected by the lockdown announced today by the Prime Minister, will be required to be physically present on Campus.
- Please note, students not resident in Laucala Campus, and visitors are no longer able to come to the Laucala Campus during the extended Mid Semester Break.
- USP DISMAC resolved that all non-essential staff continue to work from home until further advice.
Please note that the University is constantly monitoring and reviewing the COVID-19 Pandemic and we request that USP staff and students regularly check their emails, USP website and USP social media outlets. USP DISMAC also encourages all staff and students to practice clean hygiene protocols, social distancing and limit travel and movement.
