For the attention of all staff in Fiji Campuses

Dear colleagues

You will all be aware that Semester 1 will resume on 10 May, 2021 with online teaching.

Whilst all Fiji campuses remain closed, the Fiji Higher Education Commission has allowed Higher Education Institutes some flexibility to facilitate necessary support services to ensure that we can deliver our classes online (click here to view).

Academic and essential support staff can therefore be allowed on Campus on a case to case basis. 

If access to the Campus is critical to your needs to ensure continuity of teaching and learning, supervisors can allow staff on campus.  Supervisors are requested to liaise closely with your Heads of Schools or sections before allowing access.  If in doubt, your SMT can consult with AVCP or Acting DVC (Education).

If you are allowed to come to Campus, please follow all COVID-19 preventive measures, including mandatory wearing of face masks.

All other staff are to continue to work from home in close consultation with your supervisors for work allocation.

Regional campuses remain open as normal.
