Dear colleagues and students

Following the press statement by Permanent Secretary for the Fiji Ministry of Health and Medical Services, Dr Fong on Wednesday 12, May, 2021, please note that our Laucala Campus (Fiji) will be closed from Friday 14, May 2021 11pm to Tuesday 18 May, 2021 4am. No staff/student/public will be permitted to come on Campus.

Residential students will remain in their hostels and essential assistance will be provided to them.

There will be no disruption to studies as USP will continue with the online delivery of classes. All staff are requested to continue working from home in close consultation with your supervisors, colleagues and maintain communication with your students. Students are requested to contact your course coordinators for any study-related issues.

Labasa Campus and Lautoka campuses remain closed and accessible to essential staff only. Regional campuses remain open as normal.

Our Counselling services will continue and we urge you to contact the Counselling Center on 9457323 for any emotional support.
