Vaccination Update

Dear Students and Colleagues,

We continue to support the work of the Fijian Government and the respective Ministries in fighting the current COVD-19 outbreak by maintaining the COVI-19 protocols and limiting access to and from Campus. Reported positive cases are now in excess of 1000 per day with an ever-increasing number of deaths; this is a severe situation that requires a direct response.

The welfare of our staff and students is our primary concern, and following on from our previous DISMAC notification, where we explained the options open to you, we recommend that you support the Fijian Governments’ National Vaccination Campaign and register for the COVID vaccination at [vra.digitalfiji.gov.fj]vra.digitalfiji.gov.fj and take both courses of the vaccine.

Failure to secure your first vaccine by 15th August 2021 will result in your exclusion from USP Campuses. Your second dose should be administered after eight weeks and prior to 1st November 2021. Having the vaccination will enable us to re-open our campuses to vaccinated staff and students and support the ongoing protection of our communities on Campus.

To enable our lives to move back to some normality, you must take this opportunity to sign up for the vaccination. If you require any further information, please contact, for students A/DVC-E Prof. Vanualailai  jito.vanualailai(at)usp.ac.fj and for staff EDPWS Mr Nemani Jone.Nemani@usp.ac.fj , or click on the following links:
