Tonga Campus Urgent Advisory

All USP Staff and Students (Tonga Campus)

Given the confirmation of two COVID-19 cases through community transmission in Tonga, the Tongan Government has announced that Tonga will be going into lockdown from 6pm this evening until further notice.

As such, the USP Tonga Campus will be closed until further notice, and campus reopening, will be guided by the government’s COVID-19 lockdown advisories in the coming days.

All Staff and students to remain at home during this lockdown period, until further notice.

Please secure all University buildings and properties prior to leaving for home today.

All staff are to liaise with their supervisors on their work from home arrangements.

USP DISMAC guided by your Campus Director will issue regular updates via email, in the coming days on the evolving situation.

Keep safe and remain calm, and do your part in preventing the further spread of COVID-19 in your communities and families.
