The University of the South Pacific (USP) is proud to introduce Semester Zero, a dynamic and engaging preparatory programme designed to equip incoming students with essential skills and knowledge before they officially begin their studies. This initiative serves as a bridge between secondary education and university life, helping students transition smoothly into their academic journey at USP.
Semester Zero is a virtual, interactive programme that offers a preview of university studies at USP. It allows students to familiarize themselves with key academic tools, university services, and learning expectations. The programme runs from 20th January to 21st March 2025 and features a virtual treasure hunt, where students engage in activities, uncover clues, and gain a hands-on understanding of USP’s learning environment.
The programme is self-paced, requiring approximately 3 hours per week, but participants can progress faster if they choose. Completing activities successfully will enhance your chances of winning exciting prizes.
