USP Achieves Initial Accreditation from WSCUC

The University of the South Pacific hosted the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) Seeking Accreditation Visit (SAV) from 11 to 13 April, 2018. The SAV1 Review Team produced a report, which was considered by the Commission, together with the institutional report, exhibits and USPs response to the team report. The Commission meeting was held from 27 to 29 June, 2018 and was attended by the Vice-Chancellor and President, Prof. Rajesh Chandra and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Learning, Teaching and Student Services, Prof. Richard Coll, who is also the Accreditation Liaison Officer. The Commission at this meeting took the action to grant Initial Accreditation to USP for a period of six years.

The University of the South Pacific is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), 985 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 100, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001.
