Mr. Ravendran Achari, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) ANZ Pacific, is going to give a guest lecture for AF210 Accounting students at the Laucala campus of the University of the South Pacific. He will cover the following content in his presentation. All staff and students are welcome.

  • Banking overview
  • Accounting practice including new accounting standard IFRS 9 and 16 briefly
  • Foreign exchange transactions and governance
  • A bit about leadership and success

About the speaker:

Mr. Ravendran Achari is the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO), ANZ Pacific, leading the whole Pacific region of 11 countries, including Fiji. Mr. Achari has overall responsibility for a multi-million AUD expense budget and its staff. He is a Chartered Accountant and full member of CPA Australia with a background in strategy, change management, financial management, taxation, accounting and business modelling.
