Six USP Lautoka staff were amongst the students who graduated from the University of the South Pacific (USP) this March.
Mohammed Shakeel Khan, Rajiv Goundar and Iowana Vanavana graduated with their Post Grad Diploma majoring in Mathematics, Information Technology, Environment Chemistry and Management & Public Administration respectively, while Lalesh Sharma and Krishan Kumar graduated with Post Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching. Teresa Ali achieved her Undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management/Employment Relations and Management and Public Administration.
Four of these staff attended the graduation ceremony held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva on Friday, 27 March.
USP Lautoka Campus Director Dr. Pramila Devi also attended the graduation ceremony.
Dr. Devi said she was pleased to see that her staff were focused on developing themselves academically by continuously upgrading their qualification.
“USP encourages, motivates and supports its staff to continually develop personally, professionally and academically and as the Campus Director I feel immensely proud that our USP Lautoka staff are progressing so well,” said Dr. Devi.
