Each year, FALE hosts the Student Leadership Forum as part of preparing students for future leadership roles, to hear and learn from inspirational leaders and to empower them skills and knowledge so that they can make an impact in their respective communities in future. The participants are representatives from the three faculties at USP and invited youth leaders from other tertiary institutions from within Fiji.
The one day event presents participants with activities where they get opportunities to analyse issues of concern to their communities and provide possible solutions to these problems. They also are provided with an opportunity to establish a line of communication with youth leaders from other tertiary institutions so that they can form a united front in engaging on social issues.
By the end of the Forum, participants:
- will be empowered through great tips on sustained leadership success by the invited speakers who themselves are successful YOUTH LEADERS.
- will develop and enhance their growth as a civic and socially responsible individual who can contribute positively to social change and sustainable development within their community
- will be instilled with USPís graduate attributes demonstrated through skills in leadership, communication, critical thinking, creativity, entrepreneurship, Pacific consciousness, team-work, professionalism and ethics.
