Chetan has a Masters in Ecotourism and a Bachelors in Hotel and Hospitality Administration. Additionally he also holds a PG Dip. in Tourism and Hospitality Management. He is a certified Master Trainer in Hospitality from ITES Singapore. His current M.Com thesis in Tourism Management is on Research Related Tourism in Fiji and highlights the perception, benefits and motivations of both the indigenous community and research tourists.

Chetan has been associated with the hospitality industry for more than a decade now and has expertise in the field of hotel planning, operations, management, consultancy services, agritourism and hospitality teaching and training.  Prior to joining USP, Chetan has been associated with Fiji National University, Directorate of Training and Technical Education, New Delhi, IHM – Mumbai and IHCL India. He has played a vital role in implementing HSR program in the state of Maharashtra, India for the Ministry of Tourism, in the year 2012-13.  He also has expertise in organizing and managing food festivals and events (Washoku 3, DTDF and Bites and Beer Fest).
