Excellent Day 2 of USP’s Online Open Week

As The University of the South Pacific’s Online Open Week entered its second day, we were very excited to host 8 Secondary Schools with over 700 students to our Zoom sessions throughout the Day.
Year 12 and 13 students of Tavua College, DAV College (Ba), Nadogo Central College, Ahmadiyya Secondary School, Assemblies of God High School, DAV Girls, Pundit Vishnu Deo Memorial School and Adi Cakobau School took part in various 1 hour sessions where staff from different Faculties and Schools, Pacific Tafe and PaCESD engaged with the students to advise them on the programmes and courses offered by the University, as well as answer any questions from the students.
Other support sections were also at hand to answer questions relating to student support services ranging from application process to accommodation, fees, scholarships, library services or life generally as a University student.
The Faculty of Business and Economics held its Facebook Live session that attracted over 2000 views through our Facebook Pages.  Facebook Live Sessions are held daily from 12.00pm to 1.00pm.   Tomorrow’s Live Session will feature the Faculty of Science, Technology and Environment.
Parallel to this we are also available for online chats from 10.00am to 11.00am, 2.00pm to 3.00pm and 4.00pm to 5.00pm to answer any questions that people may have as they browse our Online Open Week platform.  This morning we attended to over 250 online chats including over 1000 visitors to our Online Open Week platform.
