Graduate speaks highly of USP Pacific TAFE

 
Ajeshni Lata Nand spoke highly of The University of the South Pacific (USP), Pacific Technical and Further Education (Pacific TAFE), after graduating with a Diploma in Accounting (Level 5) on 23 September.
“USP’s Pacific TAFE provided me an opportunity to study after a lapse of ten years,” she said. “It was difficult in the beginning juggling between classes, work and family, however the excellent teaching staff at USP Pacific TAFE encouraged and allowed me to time to adjust.”
Ms. Nand an assistant accountant by profession at a prominent school in Suva, said her family, children and spouse had been very supportive during her studies.
“I have two daughters, one in form seven and another in year four,” Ms. Nand said. “My family and spouse have always been a pillar of strength for me – encouraging me through my academic journey.
She encouraged USP Pacific TAFE students to share the vision of the University and to support the aspirations and progress of the Pacific region.
“Upskilling myself and getting a qualification is really going to help me in the work that I do,” she said. “I would definitely recommend USP Pacific TAFE to all those that are thinking about pursuing further education – if you are at home still deciding, please come and meet the USP Pacific TAFE team today for guidance.”
