The workshop hosted stakeholders from Fiji’s kava industry and focused on how local kava producers can meet the demands and quality of the US market considering that the USA is currently the largest importer of Fiji kava.
“The inclusion of IAS in the workshop is testament of the important role of Analytical testing laboratories in ensuring export of quality Fiji Kava.  IAS will give priority to exploring ways of upgrading its kava testing capabilities to meet the growing demands of the kava industry,” said Dr. Lal.
