It’s the programme flexibility for me – Jessica

Jessica Sionetuato Pavihi gave a thumbs up to The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) online and blended mode courses because it gave her time for work and family.

She recently graduated with a Certificate in Primary Teaching from the USP Niue Campus graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony saw 22 graduates.

Jessica said the course and structure of the programme she had taken made it easy for her to manage alongside many responsibilities such as being a mother, family, work, community, and church commitments.

“USP has provided an excellent opportunity for my teaching programme where I could study remotely,” she added.

She also stated that the USP staff has always been so supportive.

“The support and response from lecturers are immense and always prompt. This enabled me to continue my studies while working and fulfilling my responsibilities as a parent,” she emphasised.

“Being a student at USP Niue Campus has been an extraordinary experience as it has allowed me to grow and learn diversely.”

Jessica stated, “I’m grateful to God for his never-ending love for wisdom and knowledge and to my family for the incredible support and patience”.

She concluded by quoting Albert Einstein, who said, “Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow”.
