Oceania Centre Facilities

The Oceania Centre Pavilion began as an arts creation space that housed performance, carving and exhibitions at the Centre. Today it includes the Performing arts stage and an events space available for hire for external events and activities.  This is an open space that can cater to large events from launches, company functions and so forth.

The Molikilagi Bure is a traditional space such as the   nestled on a small hill. The Molikilagi Bure is ideal for a more intermit events such seminars and a closed discussion area.

Gallery of Oceanian Art. This closed space is primarily used for hosting art exhibitions. Adjacent to the gallery is a court yard that can be used as a cocktail space for the launching of the exhibition.

Below are our rates for USP departments and non USP organisations.

Molikilagi Bure

Internal USP Departments

  • Full Day Hire from 8am – 5pm: $750.00
  • Morning Hire from 8am – 1pm: $350.00
  • Afternoon Hire from 12pm – 5pm: $350.00
  • Evening Hire from 5pm – 11pm: $500.00
  • Technician Support – Half Day: $75.00 and Full Day: $150.00

Access to the kitchen and toilets are included

Molikilagi Bure

Non USP Hire

  • Half Day Hire from 8am – 5pm: $1000.00
  • Full Day Hire from 8am – 10pm: $1500.00

Visual and Performing Arts Pavilion

Internal USP Departments

  • PA System: $250.00 per Event inclusive of Technician support
  • Venue Hire: $300.00 per hour during week days
  • Venue Hire: $400.00 per hour during weekends

  • Venue Hire Only: $2500.00 per week

Extras:

  • Reception area: $100.00 per hour during weekdays
  • Reception area: $200.00 per hour during weekends
  • Gallery and Reception Area: $200.00 per hour on weekdays
  • Gallery and Reception Area: $300.00 per hour on weekends
  • Gallery, Reception Area and Boardroom: $300.00 per hour on weekdays
  • Gallery, Reception Area and Boardroom : $400.00 per hour on weekends

No drinks and food are allowed in the Gallery and hiring of the Gallery is contingent upon availability in between exhibitions
