The Oceania Centre since its conception in in 1997 as a special project of the University has grown into a leading creative centre for the region, with a growing international reputation. The Oceania Dance Theatre (dance) and Pasifika Voices (choir) are inspired by Oceania’s past traditions and that the arts can inspire and empower audiences. Both performance groups have their own repertoire and are also able to create original pieces tailored for a pacific event or commission.
