USP Course Description
The Course Description is a document compiled by Student Administrative Services that provides the detail of all subjects that a student has completed at USP. The Course description information is abstracted from the USP Handbook & Calendar as attached below.
Students applying for entry or credit transfer to overseas higher education institutions are often required to provide course descriptions with their applications.
HOW TO APPLY
Requests for course descriptions can be initiated either by the organization or the student.
To initiate your request, please follow these steps:
- Pre-Payment and Course Description fee: Prior to commencing the processing of your request, you must make a pre-payment, which includes a verification fee of FJ$65.00.
- Request Submission: Lodge a Request for Course Description form with a Student Administration Service (SAS) office or at your nearest campus. You can access this form by clicking on this link: Request for Course Description
- Payment Options: You can make the payment at the nearest USP Campus, through a USP Bank account, or online via the following link: usp.ac.fj/onlinepayment. When using the online payment option, please ensure that you include your STUDENT ID number in the payment NARRATION.
- Communication for Other Campuses: You can make payments and submit forms at a USP campus nearest to you. Your request will be processed at USP Laucala campus and it will be dispatched to the USP campus nearest to you for your convenient collection. The staff at the USP campus will notify you once your document is available for personal retrieval.
If you require a more detailed document like the course outline that was provided to you by the Course Coordinators on Moodle. You will need to contact the staff at the School’s. List the courses you require course details and the year you had complete the course.
Course descriptions are usually processed in 20 working days but may take longer if the courses were undertaken more than 5 years ago, or included a “special topic”.
For the current cost of a course description, please see the USP Fee Schedule.
