BIOGRAPHY

Dr Anurag Subramani has taught English literature, creative writing and history at USP. He attended Suva Grammar School and Dame Elizabeth Cadbury High School in Birmingham, England. He did his tertiary studies in Hawaii and Fiji, winning gold medals in English literature and history at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. His novel, Dakuwaku, was published by Lōʻihi Press (Hawaii) in 2021. He was commissioned by The Fiji Times to write a history of the media organisation on its 150th anniversary. The book, The Fiji Times at 150: Imagining the Fijian Nation (Or, A Scrapbook of Fiji’s History), was launched earlier this year.
