Biography

Mohammed Hussein is a Learning Experience Designer at the Centre for Flexible Learning (CFL). Where he has dedicated 20 years to advancing online and blended education across the Pacific. He designs accessible and engaging learning experiences that integrate technology with effective teaching practices to meet the diverse needs of Pacific Island students.

Mohammed holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (Information Systems), a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the University of the South Pacific (USP), for which he received the Most Outstanding Student Award.

He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Fiji, where he was awarded a Gold Medal and the prize for the Most Outstanding Student in the programme. He has completed certifications in Applying the Quality Matters Rubric and the Peer Reviewer Coursefrom Quality Matters (QM), USA.

Mohammed is a keen researcher and has published several articles. His research interests lie in learning experience design, digital learning technologies, and online assessment.
