Biography

Since 2019, Rona Finiasi has been serving as the Multimedia Manager at USP, where he is responsible for overseeing all Multimedia Operations. He has been working for the Multimedia Team for about 8 years now and has built good communication and management skills during this period. His main focus in this role is the development of interactive learning materials, such as audio and visual content, videography, graphics, and multimedia modules. At present, Rona’s responsibilities at USP include managing the production of audio and visual materials for learning purposes in the Pacific Region. He also coordinates and oversees the broadcasting of live stream events for university events and conferences, as well as the management, maintenance, and archiving of all multimedia content for USP.

In terms of education, Rona holds a Masters and Post Graduate Diploma in Information Systems, and he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science and Information Systems from The University of the South Pacific. Additionally, he has received certification in Adobe Captivate from the University of Sydney. Rona’s interests lie in videography, audio-visual design, multimedia development, and web animations for responsive use in the learning and teaching environment. He enjoys bringing creativity and innovation to his work.
