Educational Background/ Qualifications: Master of Education, Post graduate diploma in education, Bed in Early Childhood Education and Care , Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma in Computer Studies.

Biography: Babra Babita Narain is a teaching assistant in Education and the facilitator for all early childhood courses at the Lautoka Campus of the University of the South Pacific. Her work experience includes early childhood teaching in Fiji, holding the position of an Early Childhood Coordinator with International School Nadi before serving as an early childhood facilitator at Pacific Technical and Further Education(PTAFE). She received her Bachelor and Master’s degree from the University of the South Pacific. She is currently pursuing her MED SRP studies.  Her research interest includes literacy and numeracy in early years and professional development of early childhood teachers.

Research Interests: ECEC Teacher Professional Development; Assessment in early years and ECEC teachers perception about play based learning in early years.
