What it means to be accredited?

Through the accreditation process with Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA):

  • The University of the South Pacific has achieved institutional recognition by SEDA.
  • The Post Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching (PGCTT) is fully accredited by SEDA.
  • In 2018, the PGCTT graduating candidates will receive two SEDA Professional Development Certificate (PDF) awards that its courses are accredited against from SEDA, UK.
  • These awards are as follows:
    • a. ED401 (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education) and ED402 (Curriculum Design, Development and Evaluation in Higher Education Context) is accredited against SEDA-PDF award Learning Teaching and Assessing.
    • b. ED403 (Innovations in Learning Technologies and Professional Practice) is accredited against SEDA PDF award Supporting Technology-Enhanced Learning.
