IPENZ Accreditation for BE Programmes

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic (BENGEE) has received accreditation from 2014 to 2022 from the Engineering New Zealand (ENG NZ). ENG NZ is a signatory to the Washington Accord. The BENGEE programme was launched in 2012. This achievement is reassuring for USP’s undergraduate engineering. Students can have confidence in the high quality and standing of their qualifications at international level. An accredited engineering school is considered highly among employers and other institutions across the world. Accreditation protects students, graduates and future employers and can lead to favorable employment opportunities. BENGEE graduates will receive recognition by the Fiji Institute of Engineers (FIE) and ENG NZ and can eventually become members of both bodies.

The BENGEE accredited program is listed on the Engineering New Zealand website: https://www.engineeringnz.org/engineer-tools/ethics-rules-standards/accredited-engineering-qualifications/accredited-four-year-engineering-degrees/
