The Discipline of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EE) offers Science and Engineering programme in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The Engineering Programme provide training to suit the workforce needs of the region especially for the USP member countries.
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics
Our four year Professional Bachelor of Engineering (BENGEE) programme in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is accredited by Engineering New Zealand. Engineering degrees accredited by Engineering New Zealand are recognized as meeting the initial academic requirements for professional engineers. We thank all EE staff for their effort in getting the two programmes accredited.
Bachelor of Science Double major in Electrical & Electronics
The three year Bachelor of Science (BSc) programme in Electrical and Electronics is offered with Computer Science and Physics. Students have a choice to pursue their BSc degrees Double Major in one of the two above options. The training focuses in the area of Computing and Environment Electronics, as well as Physics and Electronics.
Postgraduate Studies in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
EE also offers postgraduate studies in many areas of specialization. This includes Maters (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. MSc and PhD have specialized research areas which are dependent on the faculty members’ research interests. Interested students may contact the School Secretary or the Head of School for more details.
