Food and water quality monitoring
“Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life.” (FAO 1996)
Food and water safety and food security are intrinsically linked, not only to each other, but also to the safety and availability of water, the health of human populations, and market access.
IAS continues to offer services in the areas of:
- Food Safety Monitoring – physical, chemical and microbiological tests.
- Water Safety Monitoring – physical, chemical and microbiological tests.
