Continuing and Community Education (CCE)
Continuing Education courses have been available in Nauru since 1974 under the University’s Extension Services now known as the Centre for Flexible and Distance Learning (CFDL).
Continuing Education was extended further to include Community Education as a measure of The University’s commitment to providing ‘appropriate levels of education and training responsive to the well-being and needs of the communities’.
Mission “Deliver excellence in Continuing and Community education that empowers and enables individuals and communities on Nauru to become self-sufficient citizens”.
CCE office is the starting point for change and acts as a bridge between the University and stakeholders.
CCE Basic Literacy and Numeracy programs are pre requisites for those with no formal high school qualification to be accepted into pre tertiary studies at USP.
CCE offers a variety of courses and programs that focus on life skills and work related content.
Courses can start anytime during the year depending on public demand.
