General Information

The Solomon Islands Campus Library is one of 22 libraries in the USP Library network with a presence in the 12 countries of the USP region namely; Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

The Campus Library is an integral part of the USP Solomon Islands Campus and is located in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

The purpose of the Campus Library is guided by the Mission of the USP network of libraries which is:

“To advance the University Mission by providing equitable regional access to excellent library and information services, resources and facilities to students, faculty and the wider Pacific community to enable them to become lifelong learners”.

The Library offers a wide range of resource materials, information services and facilities to support its students, faculty, staff and members of the general public in accordance with the standards set by the University as the premier provider of tertiary education in the Pacific.

The Campus Library uses the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme to organize its collections and uses the Athena integrated library system.
