The RSD Team in collaboration with the University Library and the Student Learning Specialists will run a series of Research Skills Development [RSD] framework informed workshops specifically designed to help postgraduate research students at the University help in their initial stages of research.

Searching the literature is a research method in its own right, using online databases in your defined area of study is a way of enabling to read research studies objectively, identifying the key terms, connecting with correct Boolean operators, and developing critical evaluation skills for useful and credible resources. The support by the use of hands on practical sessions and activities will reinforce your understanding of the research concept. The session will cover the following databases:

-Search@USP Library
-EBSCO Discovery Services (EDS) an all-inclusive search solution that makes in-depth research easy
