Credit Points

The University has a detailed credit points system, and credit transfer policy. The credit points system drew upon extensive surveys of student reports of the time spent across a variety of learning-related activities (formal classes and tutorials, self-study, preparation for tests & exams, etc.), and is consistent with The Bologna Model. The Senate considered and approved the Credit Points Policy  & Procedures based on the Bologna Model with 60 credit points being a year’s work. Drawing on the Credit Points Policy, the Senate also approved the revised Credit Transfer Procedures and Form.
