Field of Study:

Currently pursuing Post-Graduate in Education. Completed her Bachelor of Science, Graduate Certificate in Education

Job Role:

School Teacher

Testimonial:

Continuing with my studies has been challenging due to limited access to devices with slow and unreliable internet connectivity. However, the remote learning tools and support provided by USP had made a big difference. I have been able to continue learning remotely. While there are challenges on the path of education, if the heart is willing, all else becomes a possibility. The Savusavu Centre staff have supported me in accessing learning materials like Offline Print Packages to help me cope with my studies while being on the island. It is now a new norm that I have learnt to manoeuvre, and it has not dampened my spirits to complete my studies.

Testimonial:

I am Rachna Chand, pursuing my Diploma in Commerce, majoring in Management and Public Administration. I am a working student and was able to complete the course this semester, Semester 1 2021 successfully by taking advantage of one of the many support services that USP offered during this second wave of Covid19. I opted to use the Offline Print Packs (OPP) which the Course Coordinators had put together, containing supplementary learning resource, including reading and other materials regarding the course. It was very informative and provided clear solutions to the learning objectives. With this initiative from USP, and been supported well by local USP Campus who allowed me to access the printed packages. I am looking forward to having another successful completion of my next unit this coming semester and I encourage students to take this opportunity of using OPP to compliment your learning in this study remote days.
