ABOUT

Hello! I’m Charlene and I am a Marine Science graduate working as a Teaching Assistant at USP. I provide learning and teaching support for students and staff of various undergraduate units, mainly focusing on Marine Geology and Sedimentology, Marine Pollution, Coral Reef Ecology and Management, and Marine Spatial Planning. My background experience includes part-time tutoring, marking and lab demonstrations for introductory undergraduate Marine Science, Marine Resource Management, Aquaculture and Seafood Science courses. Growing up in the Pacific fuelled my love for the ocean and led me to pursue a career in Marine Science. My fondness for teaching allows me to partake in the exchange of ideas and help shape the minds of future generations in the hopes of creating a better environment – together.
