Karishma has a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management and a Master of Commerce in Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by the University of the South Pacific. Additionally, she has a Certificate IV in Frontline Management, an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from the Holmesglen Institute of Tafe in Melbourne, Australia, and a Trade Certificate in Graphic Design from Fiji National University.

Prior to joining the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Karishma utilised her design skills, technical savvy and creativity as a freelance graphic designer. Karishma has also worked in supervisory roles in the hospitality and service industry in Australia and Fiji. Karishma’s interest areas include understanding the role of technology, design and marketing in tourism.
