Bio

Ms. Margret Joyce Kensen joined USP in 2020 as an Assistant Lecturer where she taught Contracts Law and Company and Partnerships Law. She currently coordinates the Professional Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) Programme at USP Emalus Campus.

Margret is a USP alumna having pursued her Bachelor of Laws and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice with USP. Margret joined USP after a successful career in the public sector. She held several senior positions in the Vanuatu Government, such as: Compliance Manager at Public Service Commission, Compliance Officer and Acting Policy Manager at Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Chief Compliance Office at Land Logic Ltd, Legal Officer at Telecommunications, Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator, State Council at State Law Office and Senior Registration Officer at Vanuatu Financial Services Commission.

Her research interests include competition and consumer laws as well as employment laws in the South Pacific, with a particular interest in Vanuatu.
