Bio
Mr. Michael B Krakat joined USP Emalus Campus as a Lecturer in 2020. Michael currently coordinates Public and Comparative Law courses. Prior to joining USP, Michael researched and taught at Bond University in Queensland, Australia and Edinburgh University in Scotland in the fields of Public (Constitutional, Criminal and International) Law.
Michael is a published author and an active academic member at the Investment Migration Council in Geneva. He is also the Academic Expert Columnist of the Investment Migration Insider Global Portal (http://www.imidaily.com/author/michael-b-krakat/).
He is admitted at both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia and has worked as a solicitor in immigration matters. Michael has also worked as a MARA Registered Australian Migration Agent and as an international consultant with focus on China and East Asia. His vocational interest is in all matters individual and corporate global mobility as well as immigration policy planning. Michael is also a recipient of the Australian national Postgraduate Award (APA) and a New South Wales State Medal Holder (Conveyancing Property Law).
