Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) is a technology that USP has adopted for the use of virtual machines to provide and manage virtual desktops.

USP VDI solutions are:

  1. Hosts desktop environments on a centralized server and deploys them to installed VDI nodes in select computer labs
  2. Hosts virtual desktops and applications for staff and students to access from their browsers online
