Priya Darshani has graduated from University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Information Systems in the year 2019. She is further pursing her studies in Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting. Prior to joining Research Office, Priya was part of Carpenters Group as an Accounts Payable Officer in the year 2016. She was also part of Graduate School of Business as a Student IT Assistant in the year 2015 and Planning and Quality office as a Survey Assistant in the year 2014. She joined USP Research Office in the Year 2017 as an Office Assistant and manages the core functions of Research Office. Having 4 years of experience in Administration and Finance Priya has good knowledge of accounting and financial knowledge particularly with USP banner systems. Together with troubleshooting financial challenges, she is also managing delegated administrative aspects of contracts and payroll matters for student research assistants, student interns, graduate assistants and consultants hired by the Research Office. She also has vast amount of knowledge assisting in event coordination such as trainings and workshops and providing administrative support to all staff with specific requirements.
