USPI Support Services

USPI is the first point of contact for all International student support services.

Orientation:
We provide a comprehensive Orientation programme which includes a campus tour, buddy with local students, a village excursion and team building with fellow students and staff.

Focus Group Discussion:
Each semester two focus group discussions (FGD) are held for all International students. This is a safe space where you can raise any grievances or address issues you may be facing. Our office takes note of these and addresses them with the correct departments.

Sports Day:
Each semester there is a Sports Day held together with the USPI Staff, USP students and the International students. This is a leisure opportunity for you to experience some local fun games and also have a bonding with your peers and our staff.

Community Outreach:
Each semester the USPI with the International students engages with local communities and organizations to give back, as part of our Social Corporate Responsibility (SCR). The day is spent learning, sharing, mentoring and also volunteering with a disadvantaged community.

Collecting Mail:

You can have your mail sent to International Office address for collection.  Ensure that you keep the correct tracking number and make the payments accordingly for receiving your parcels. You may forward your formal mail/documentation to be received by International Office. ISA (International Students Association)

All international students are members of the international students’ association. The association organizes activities/events throughout the year for internatonational students. These includes; providing peer support to new and continuing international students, social and cultural gatherings, hike and sports tournaments.

Social Events:
It isn’t all academic lectures and assignments when you study at USP. There are various social events organized on campus by the University and student associations as well as off-campus events which you can enjoy with your peers.

Travel log:
To ensure your safety we recommend you fill out the online travel log when traveling out of campus. This helps us get in touch with you in case of emergency (especially if it is during the natural disaster periods).

Emergency Assistance – provided to our international students outside of office hours.
