Like many other achievements in life, this year USP Labasa Campus made it a memorable one for 111 graduating students. Not only did Semester 2 Graduates have an opportunity to celebrate their achievement but Semester 1 students were also accommodated in the Graduation Photo Shoot.
From the five Masters Graduates, Ahemad Shah is one of the graduates of Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting. He attributed his achievement to his family and especially his Dad. He drew from the inspiration behind his journey from his Parents who weren’t Educated and were the driving force to achieve to the maximum. Mr. Shah is employed by USP Labasa Campus and he acknowledged the Campus Director and Staff for their support as he celebrated his achievement.
“I am thankful to the Almighty and my Family for such tremendous support,” was the remark by Siteri Mateni, a Postgraduate in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching graduate. She is an English Language teacher at Vunimoli Secondary who is grateful that she got an opportunity to upgrade her qualifications through the provisions made at USP Labasa Campus.
The most delightful part of this year’s Graduation here at USP Labasa Campus is the fact that six Staff graduated in their respective study arenas ranging from Certificates, Postgraduates to Masters. “One must always continue to upgrade their qualification and keep learning,” is the regular advice given to the Staff by the Campus Director.
Today the Campus Staff ensured that Students get to feel acknowledged for their hard work and we do celebrate this momentous achievement irrespective of the hurdles and drawbacks of many circumstances felt and experienced this year.
