USP Graduate Outcomes and RSD Framework

The University ensures all its graduates have certain attributes no matter what their discipline of study. These are known as Graduate Outcomes, and the University has as sophisticated infrastructure to achieve this. The Research Skills Development (RSD) Framework, is a key part of this. The initial mapping of the RSD and USP Graduate Outcomes (GO) was carried out in 2011 prior to the implementation of the Research Skills Development framework at the University.

Following the revision of the University’s Graduate Outcomes in 2017, the Research Office re-mapped the RSD facets and the GOs. The RSD facets overlap with all the University GOs. Details of the overlap are provided in Here.
