On behalf of the University of the South Pacific (USP) Library, it is our honour to extend a warm welcome to you as we commence Orientation Week. The USP Library Network comprises of 27 libraries across 12 USP member nations, spanning vast distances across the Pacific Ocean.

In response to the evolving demands of education and the complexities of an ever-changing world, our library network offers a comprehensive range of both traditional and innovative services to support students, faculty, and the broader Pacific community. Our commitment to international standards and best practices ensures the highest quality of support for learning, teaching, and research, while maintaining a distinctly Pacific approach to service delivery.

In an era defined by rapid technological advancements and the rise of ubiquitous learning—where knowledge is accessible anytime, anywhere, and in any format—the USP Library has expanded its collection to include a wealth of digital and virtual resources. We strive to provide a dynamic learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our users, whether through quiet study spaces, interactive learning areas, face-to-face and online reference services, or specialized information skills sessions. Additionally, our Pacific Collection offers invaluable insights into the region’s history and culture, while our leisure reading collection and curated displays create opportunities for exploration and engagement.
