USP Press

ABOUT THE PRESS

The USP Press works at being the leading scholarly publisher in the Pacific region of the 12 member countries of The University of the South Pacific.

Taking its cue from the Institute of Pacific Studies (ceased 1994), the aim of the Press effective 2021 is to provide an enabling environment for Pacific authors writing on Pacific issues in the sciences, humanities and social sciences.

As well as providing an outlet for academic work and research, the Press encourages submissions across a range of topics and is particularly invested in supporting the work of authors from the Pacific region.

Oversight of the Press is provided by an Advisory Panel and a small team of consultant staff whose services are called upon as needed.
